Hollow Trees Farm
We had a fantastic day today for class trip at Hollow Trees Farm. We started the morning learning about food produce and pretended to be farmers. We planted pea seeds to grow at home and then went on a tractor and trailer ride to the vegetable gardens, looking at cabbages and watering the pumpkin seeds. After snack time, we visited the animals and saw and fed the goats, cows and pigs. After lunch, we learnt about life cycles and animals and their young and then went pond dipping. We had such a great day and learnt so much! Miss Aldous was very impressed with the questions we asked and how well behaved we were as it was our first class trip!
