In our understanding of the world work; the children have been learning about different modes of transport. This week we focused on sea travel and have been learning about different types of the boats and the materials they are made from. The children designed their boat model and thought about what materials to make their boats out of. We then tested to see if our predictions were correct using the water tray. We concluded plastic is a good material to make our boat float.
