The School Day

St. Pancras School Day

For September 2022:

The school day runs from 8.50am to 3.20pm Monday to Friday (32.5 hours in total per week - further details below).

The gates are open at 8.40am for 10 minutes to allow children to go into their rooms. Head of School and one of the Key Stage Leads will be on the playground, each morning, to greet parents and children as they arrive.

When starting in Rainbows, children can go directly to their classroom accompanied by their parents.  Over a period of time, as the children build up confidence, parents will be asked to refrain from entering the classroom.

KS1 children can be accompanied by their parents to the classroom door, for the first term, however we would expect most to go to their classrooms by themselves.

KS2 children should almost always be going to their classrooms unaccompanied.

The gates open at 3.15pm.  Parents collecting children from the Reception classroom are asked to wait in the Rainbows playground; your child will not be let out of the classroom until you have arrived.

If you are unable to collect your child at the end of the school day, you must inform the school office.  For security reasons we will never release your child from the classroom if we have not been informed.
