Solar for Schools visited on Friday 21st November, leading an assembly for the whole school. Andy explained where the solar panels are and how they are positioned to collect the sun throughout the day. He gave us information about how much electricity we are generating as a school and how much we are using. 

Andy then undertook workshops with both the Green School Council and Year 4. They explored how the sun generates electricity and what happens when it is cloudy!
