St Pancras Catholic Primary School In St Pancras, we are loving and kind

Fundraising

At St Pancras, fundraising is an expression of our faith and a living extension of Catholic Social Teaching (CST). We believe that stewardship is not just about raising funds, but about forming hearts, building community, and responding to God's call to love our neighbours. When our school community comes together to give, our efforts are guided by these core CST principles:

  • Dignity of the Human Person: We recognise the inherent value of every individual. Our fundraising initiatives always seek to respect and uplift the dignity of those we serve and those who give.
  • The Common Good: We are called to look beyond ourselves. Our projects aim to build a better, more just world by supporting conditions that allow everyone in our community and global family to thrive.
  • Option for the Poor and Vulnerable: Following the example of Christ, our giving prioritises the needs of the most marginalised. We teach pupils that true charity seeks to alleviate suffering and dismantle injustice.
  • Solidarity: We are all interconnected. Our fundraising is a joyful commitment to walk alongside our brothers and sisters as one human family.
  • Stewardship of Creation: We honour God's gifts by ensuring our efforts are ethically, responsibly, and sustainably managed, caring for both our resources and our common home.

Thank you for partnering with us to put our faith into action. Together, we are not just raising funds—we are cultivating a culture of generosity, compassion, and justice.

Our children in all year groups are active participants in selecting and voting on our fundraising efforts throughout the year. Please see below for further information about our efforts this year.

Harvest

Thank you to all parents and children, who have collected or donated such wonderful food items for our Harvest collection. The children will nominate a local foodbank after our Harvest festival to give these items to.

Remembrance

We will be selling poppies and items from the Royal British Legion within school to raise money for the RBL.

Christmas shoe- box appeal

We will be teaming up with St Alban's Catholic High School to collect shoe-boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Find a shoebox

Find a Shoebox

Start with a medium sized shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately. You can use your own shoeboxes or order our colourful preprinted ones.

Attach the boy/girl label to the top of your shoebox. Mark if your gift is for a boy or a girl and select an age category 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14.

Fill with gifts

Fill it With Gifts

Fill your shoebox with a selection of fun toys, school supplies and personal care items. If possible, include one or two extra special items you know a child will love such as a doll, cuddly toy or deflated football with pump. See our Gift Suggestions below for more ideas.

Make your project donation

Make Your Project Donation

A suggested donation of £5 is essential to cover project costs including collection, processing, shipping, project materials and training local churches to lead a safe, well-organised children's event where your shoebox will be given to a child in need.

Give online at Follow Your Box and you can print out a barcode and place it inside your shoebox on top of the contents. This will enable us to tell you which country your shoebox gets sent to.

Personalise and pray

Personalise and Pray

Pray for the child that will receive your gift. You may also like to personalise your shoebox by including a hand written note and a photograph of yourself, your group or your family.
